JESE equips young women and men with practical green skills that prepare them for employment and entrepreneurship in Uganda’s emerging green economy. Through hands-on training, mentorship and industry partnerships, participants gain competencies in climate-smart agriculture, renewable energy, environmental restoration, sustainable construction and other environmentally responsible occupations that contribute to resilient communities and sustainable development.

JESE empowers young people, women and community groups to transform innovative ideas into sustainable businesses. Through entrepreneurship training, financial literacy, business planning and mentorship, participants develop the knowledge and confidence to establish enterprises that create jobs, increase household incomes and stimulate inclusive local economic growth.

JESE nurtures early-stage enterprises by providing business incubation services that help entrepreneurs transform ideas into successful and sustainable businesses. Through technical assistance, coaching, networking and market support, we strengthen enterprise growth, improve competitiveness and enhance access to investment opportunities.

JESE bridges the gap between skills development and employment by connecting graduates with employers, business networks, financial institutions and enterprise opportunities. We collaborate with the private sector, government agencies and development partners to facilitate internships, apprenticeships, job placement and self-employment pathways that improve youth employability and economic inclusion.
