Since 1993, JESE is a National Non-Governmental Organization registered with the National bureau for Non-Governmental Organizations. JESE has developed her capacity as one of the leading indigenous organizations dedicated to reducing poverty through empowering smallholder farming and natural resources dependent communities both nationals and refugees, youth and institutions to optimally engage in sustainable agriculture, natural resources governance, water, and sanitation and hygiene for economic, social and environment well-being nationally. JESE is comprised of the General Assembly that is the top most organ of the organization, the board of directors with committees and the secretariat that has got 5 departments.
